We had a pleasant new year at home with a few friends, we sat and talked and ate and drunk and put the world to right!
We started off by watching the New Year Celebrations for the UK to get us in the mood. I recently found this great website http://www.filmon.com/ you can watch all the UK TV Channels over the Internet. To make it even better I plugged the video signal from my laptop to the TV and the quality is pretty good, check it out.
The kids had a blast, they spent time tobogganing in the back garden and followed that by trying to use the trampoline. Not a good idea when it has a few inches of snow on it, thankfully no broken bones or significant bruises.
Good news I finally got to use my new snow blower this morning, it was a long awaited event :o)Images as you can see, not really enough snow to warrant getting it out but I was desperate to get it going, roll on the real winter!
