OK, third real practice, taking Jamie to soccer practice leaves me with time on my hands while I wait.
Yesterday I went with a plan (Not a great plan but a plan none the less).
My aim was to run a bit walk a bit run a bit walk a bit etc - fairly simple.
I still cant believe how out of shape you get with age, I really thought this was going to a real easy task, its not easy and I am glad in some respects because if people are prepared to sponsor me, and to date I have over $500 then I should earn it!!
So how did it go?
I started slowly, walk a lap them run a lap, walk a lap then run two laps etc.
Totalling up the walking / running laps I did manage to do over 5Km's but the goal is to "run" 5Km's. So more work to do.
Just to confirm "run" = "Slow jog" but a later plan is to do a "Steady Jog" or maybe even a "trot".
Legs today are pretty good but my long standing ankle injury is very sore and stiff, looking forward to the next training session.
